For me its all about God, my kids, music and hockey. Working 12 hour days several days a week and weekends doesn't leave much time for anyone else or anything other than my kids. Between the homework and the domestic chores of being a Mr. Mom I'm pretty busy. I would love to travel if I could afford it. If I ever won the lottery I would like to road trip though all of the 50 States. From there I like to venture overseas to the Australian Zoo to pay my respects to the late Steve Irwin. Overall when it comes to traveling, if I am blessed enough to share the rest of my life with someone then we have to go to Hawaii. I have always wanted to go there but only with the one I love.
As far as people I'd like to meet, well Jesus first and foremost. NHL legend Bobby Orr comes to mind as does Phil Esposito. Actor Adam Sandler seems like a good guy in person. Jorge Garcia who plays Hurley on LOST seems so down to Earth. Sci-fi's Ghosthunters Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson are just some cool people who want answers. Our philosophies and beliefs may be different but I have the utmost respect for those guys. Even though he has past on, I would have liked to of met Johnny Cash. I was never a pill popping addict like J. R. but I too have struggled with my faith at times in my life just like Johnny.
From Frank Sinatra to Iron Maiden. I don't have one particular music style I prefer. I like 80's New Wave, Heavy Metal, Christian Rock, early 90's hip hop/rap and Alternative. A few of my favorite recording artists all time are U2, The Clash, Van Halen (with David Lee Roth), KISS and The Dead Can Dance. Oh BTW I once was a college DJback in the early 90's. My radio program was called Retro 80's Sunday Nites with DJ Mykul Scott where I played 80's New Wave and 80's Alternative. I also did the "Real Alternative", which was a Alternative Christian Rock program where I played stuff like the Dance House Children, Daniel Amos, Adam Again, The 77's, Breakfast with Amy, as well as many more. Sigh....I miss those days.
