About Me

I was blessed to have been around in an era of Melbourne that was thriving as far as alternative and roots music, cutting my teeth on the music of bands like the Straight 8's, The Ducktails, Roadsters, Rockabilly Rebels and the like. It was also an era of the Stray Cats.Carting my drums around in my car usually got a sit in at a party on a Friday or Saturday night. Gaining many an influence from many of the great local musicians of the time.My first official band was with the Kingbillies, moving on to Hoot and Holler and a 15 year stint with Melbourne r n r band Jump and Jive. Numerous fill jobs with bands such as the Straight 8's, Firebird, Runaway Boys ( The Living End ) and many a jam session ensued. The Flyin Saucers were my next main band and a five year stint ensued, playin the wintersun festival and other interstate gigs. I left the Saucers and focused my attention on a country band while still doing the odd gig with Jump n Jive.A recent move to Newcastle NSW has seen me meet a few fine players, A stint with Local country band Rob Cass and the Cosmic Cowboys has further enhanced my musical circle. Currently doing fill work with local acts such as The Blues Rattlers, Pat Capocci Combo, The Rattlesnakes and the odd jam band.Playin with the Hellbillies a new and exciting country/rockabilly venture and its just the way I like it, down and dirty with just enough gravel thrown in for good measure. its got a real good vibe about it, world domination and all that shit !!Fortunate enough to be the regular drummer also in The Ezra Lee show, now this cat can play that damn piano and its a pleasure to be part of the experience so do yourself a favor and catch a gig sometime, hell we might even set some shit on fire ....The tunes on the player are from both my time with the flyin saucers and the short lived country venture, The Spurs. My spare time is consumed by music, getting tattoed, tattooing, cars ,bikes and seeing great musicians work the magic. Rock on folks, keep it real and no matter what crazy shit life throws at you keep on smiling ...... We all deserve the good things.Baddass Older F-150
