I love writing and performing music. I'm in a duo with cellist Matt Aubrey called THE MIDNIGHT DAILIES and have supported bands such as THE WHITLAMS, JEZ MEAD, CHRISTINE ANU and GIRL MOST LIKELY. Matt plays the cello and I play acoustic guitar, didge and sing. I'm experimenting with an RC-50 loop station, allowing me to create overlapping layers of vocals and guitar, all live and in real time. I love big dynamics and interesting musical textures.
I'm currently doing my Masters at The Newcastle Conservatorium of Music, studying modern orchestration and composition. I have produced and recorded acts including: THE GOOD, VAUDEVILLE, FICTIONS, EMILY ROSE SORENSON, AURIEL ANDREW, BUDDY KNOX, LESSON MC, ERIN, QUARRALIA KNOX, SIMON STEWART, DANIEL MARCH, BARRY MARCH and many more. I love producing music for the theatre and am currently working on a stage musical about Captain James Cook, and a show "SOMEWHERE BETWEEN SLEEPING AND DREAMING" with Sydney artist ASHLEY DYER. Previous works include THE SHINING ISLE and THE TRUE PHEONIX (by Carl Caulfield).
