About Me

ABOUT PURE METALOCITY
The name comes from a delirium of madness due to insomnia and excessive beer drinking while trying to say, "metal velocity." Go figure.
PURE METALOCITY is a place to check out reviews on shows and performances, albums, bands, and interviews. It also features videos from attended shows! As you can tell by the name, it's all purely metal. Anywhere from doom metal, to death metal, to black metal, to grindcore, to thrash, to melodic metal, and everything else under the glorious metal genre. If it's metal, PURE METALOCITY supports.
PURE METALOCITY features:
CD / Demo / EP / Album reviews
Show reviews
Interviews
Grotesque's Victim of the Week
Videos of live performances
Promotions
Message if you want to know about how to get your band involved!
The most important part of PURE METALOCITY is the BLOG where the features are posted. If you really want to keep up with the latest reviews, subscribe to it.
This project is fresh and new, so the brutality has yet to begin. I’m going to need your help getting it going. Add this page, tell your friends about PURE METALOCITY, and have them send add requests. The more people that know about this, the more exposure featured bands will get! And that is exactly what PURE METALOCITY is for.
If you are a band, or have friends in a band that would like to be featured, send me your/their information and I’ll see what I can do to get it done.
Keep it fuckin' METAL!

ABOUT GINA GROTESQUE
While I think the focus on this site should be on the featured music, I understand that some people are curious about me, Gina Grotesque.
FIRST OF ALL: The "G" in "Gina" is pronounced hard. Exactly like the "G" in "Grotesque." Yes, I know that is fuckin weird, but it's Norwegian, and Norwegians are fuckin crazy!
I'm a fiery red-headed metal fan from Washington state. I love metal, all types. If you pay attention, I'm actually educated and am serious about metal and everything involved in it.
My sense of humor can often be confused with insults and/or can be taken offensively by those who prefer to be politically correct and partake in giving back to society's mainstream bullshit. Be cautious of the abortion, fetus, dead baby, and other inappropriate jokes.
I thoroughly enjoy watching people vomit and making fun of them. I'll even record it if I have my video camera on me. Vomit is funny, not gross.
It is not my fault I break hearts, but the fault of those who throw such fragile things into my hands knowing my destructive nature.
I'm kind of a bitch sometimes...
I strongly believe that metal bands and musicians should be shown as much support and adoration as possible, and I can often be caught spending more money than I can afford at a metal show on merch and probably (meaning most likely) also getting absolutely wasted on whiskey and Jager bombs. It makes me feel good knowing my money went to something I love (The music, not the hangover), even when I go over my bank statements and realize I fucked up next month's rent.
