I have been making music for over half of my life. It consumes my life in an almost unhealthy fashion. I do have a few healthy distractions to keep me occupied. I love my x-box(Psychonauts,Nija Gaiden,Final Fantasy). I love sc-fi and fantasy stuff in most forms. RPG's, Movies, Action Figures, Models, Paintings, Books....you name it I've geeked out on it. I love Japnese and German Culture in general. Both cultures have produced some of my favorite art,Film and Music.

I have played in Mazinga Phaser, The Falcon project, The falkon, The Silver Saint, The Wild Bull, Laptop Deathmatch, The Black Arm Band(the second version), The Frenz, Glen Branca's 100 Guitar ensemble and a few shows with E.A.R. back in the mid 90's. Nowadays I am concentrating on my new solo alias "Blixaboy" and an update of The black Arm Band called "The Black Army". Blixaboy is my electronic side and The Black Army is my noisy guitar rock side. The Frenz is currently on hold for the summer.

I am socially awkward and would rather play music than socialize most of the time. I hate stuck up music elitist and unfortunately that is who I share the most common ground with musically. It drives me crazy. I really dig avant-anything, but I am not always into the pretension that goes along with that. I am obssesed with the study of music and all music cultures. I grew up on a steady diet of Punk Rock, but as I have gotten older I have expanded my music palette in a large variety of directions. From Black Metal to Afrobeat to avant Jazz to 20th composers to south american psyche to german techno to old country to southern gospel spirituals to prison songs to Dubstep and everything inbetween. I firmly believe most people listen to what has been spoonfed to them and never really search out what really tickles their fancy. There is too much great music out there to shut myself off from all of it. I'll try anything once or twice,,,,,,,,,, maybe even thrice.
