Who put the "Dent" in Denton?

About Me

Raised By Tigers is a collaborative effort between Rob Peters and Jason McMullen. Originally founded by Peters in 2000, RBT hails from the musically vibrant college town of Denton, Texas. After two members left the band in 2004, McMullen and Peters decided to continue as a duo. They retained the name, but took the occasion to explore new material for the two-piece incarnation. After returning from a tour of the Midwest and East Coast in 2005, RBT took a break from live shows to focus on the next recording project. They began recording at Echolab studio in June 2005, recruiting friends and engineers Matt Pence (Centromatic) and Dave Willingham (Polyphonic Spree) to assist. "LED", the new CD, was completed in 2007, and was released by TXMF Records in December of 2007. Raised By Tigers is currently playing to promote the recording with a new band featuring Tyler Walker, Mike Canzano, Pat Ferguson (Birth to Burial), and Nate DeYonker (Dark Meat).

RBT has shared billing with these fine bands: karate, drums&tuba, dismemberment plan, 90 day men, mile marker, calla, the get hustle, uz jsme doma, daryl, les savy fav, the paper chase, deerhoof, mandarin, riverboat gamblers, maserati, saturday looks good to me, little grizzly, western keys, the panthers, blood thirsty lovers, baptsist generals, hella, kind of like spitting, what made milwaukee famous, thriftstore cowboys, little brazil, travis morrison,etc...
