People who inspire, be my muse and I'll be yours too;-) Good people, they're few and far between but it's nice when you find em...and most importantly, people with soul.
Music is my religion, I love to listen and play music as well. My favorite band is Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, I'm sure like 90% of the people reading this have never heard of them. Generally you would find them in the jazz section at a music store, but their music is so much more than jazz, they play at level that erases walls between styles, it is truly the ultimate fusion music. Dave Matthews Band Other then that, Cake, Ben Harper, Medeski-Martin and Wood, Coltrane, Brubeck, Paul Oakenfald, DJ Krush, Bruce Hornsby, Chick Corea, Metallica, Van Morisson, Ben Harper, Blues traveler, Jack Johnson, Sinatra, Beatles, Bill Evans, Billy Joel, Eric Clapton, Joshua Bell, Edgar Meyer, Sam Bush, Mike Marshall, Yo-Yo Ma, Mark O'Conner, Lauryn Hill, Led Zepplin, Louis Armstrong, Maroon 5, Matisyahu, Michael Franti, Mozart, Otis Redding, Elton John, Paul Simon, Santana, Sublime, Tori Amos, Ani Difranco, Fransisco Aguabella, and David Gray to name a few. This should give you an idea
Death to Smoochy, Shawshank Redemption, Napolean Dynamite, pretty much anything with Will Farrel or Vince Vaughn, Confidence, American Beauty, Usuaual...pretty Much anything with Kevin Spacey, Ed Norton, Dustin Hoffman, Robin Williams. I could go on forever, I like movies a lot and I've seen a buttload of them.
Not a big TV fan, was kinda raised on it as a kid..which is probaly why I'm not such a big fan anymore. Don't get me wrong, you sit me down in front of the TV...6 hours later I'm still sitting there staring at the box...which is another reason why I'm not su[er fond of it. I do love Sex and The City tho, probably seen every episode twice, but that what mostly renting the seasons from blockbuster. Ols School Sketch comedy like In living Color is the shit, oh yeah Damon Wayans new show on showtime, "The underground," is fuckin hilarious.
Guns, Germs and Steel. The Sorrows of Empire. How much are you making off the war, Daddy? The Davinci Code. The Communist Manifesto. The Jungle. Fast Food Nation. Crack the Rock to the Rock Crack. I mostly stick to factual informative books, and have read about countless subjects. History, psychology, sociology, anthropology, music, acting, politics, biology, astronomy, nuerology, philosophy, religion. I could go on, but I think that's pretentious enough. I believe that one can gain a much deeper understanding of the world by seeing the connections between all subjects. Everything is circular, everything is connected.
