Influences: Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, DMB(Carter is my idol), Dennis Chambers, Sublime, Weather Report, John Coltrane, Weather Report(Jaco changed the way people thought about bass), Tori Amos, Ani Difranco, Cake, Ben Harper, Edgar Meyer, Joshua Bell, Jack Johnson, Mettalica, Ottis Redding, Blues Traveler, Dave Brubeck, DJ Jaku, Paul Oakenfold, The Beatles of course, Fiona Apple, Norah Jones, Martin Tyrrell...to name a few. I have an extremely ecclectic music taste, music is my religion. I can appreciate technical ability as well as an ability to communicate emotion with music, the best music tends to combine both elements. I am endlessly thankful for all the artists that fave come before me and influenced my style, I wouldn't be the player I am without them......Adam Benjamin
