Formerly known as Eat Em Up Productions. The Fire Department is one of the hottest production duos on the scene. The Fire Department consists of Ed Faris and Adam Smeaton. Both cut their teeth playing in modern rock bands. Ed is a guitarist and Adam is a drummer. They have played rock clubs all across the country as well as the popular Warped Tour. Both Ed and Adam have an all consuming passion for music. As fans of many genres and styles of music, they realize that continual growth and development of skills is necessary in today’s competitive music industry. Ed’s knowledge of modern computer based recording and production is unparalleled. Ed also has a real sense of song craft, whether it be Rock, Hip Hop, or otherwise. Ed has been producing Hip Hop for 10 years. Although it’s hard to believe, Adam’s only been making Hip Hop music for 2 years. Adam has an absolute ridiculous sense of rhythm. Together Ed and Adam have a firm understanding of how to make crowds gravitate to the dance floor, how to come up with those “stick to your ribs" melodies you can’t stop humming”, how to make hits. The Fire Department has had records in the movie "The Honeymooners". Tracks used on the PSP Video Game "Twisted Metal". A list of movie trailers includes "Batman Begins", "Walk The Line", I’m the Man" and TV shows like "The Shield", "Entourage", and "Sleeper Cell". Eat Em Up Productions also Engineered, Produced, and Mixed two Latin Hip Hop Compilations "Guerra De Los Raperos Pesados" and " Soldados De Las Calles" which was released by UniVision Currently looking to work with the hottest Rappers/MC’s, and vocalists in the game.
