Shawn Myrie, a.k.a "BLAK DIAMON" the pres. of U.I.M (uptempo international music), is a multifaceted- Producer and Songwriter,Artist. After finishing up studies in Canada (U.W.O) in 1999, Shawn along with his younger brother Andrew "Anju Blaxxx" Myrie , started off the Uptempo Sound System. Being in the mix of the music industry, Shawn started doing music production and later formed the U.I.M (uptempo international music) lable.
Anju Blaxxx decided to advance in engineering so he went to full sale, studying recording arts. Now the sound that comes from the U.I.M studio is unbelievable . Blak Diamon is now ready for the world as he has become the artist of the future with a brand new sound an his writing is getting more popular as he writes for other artist in the business.
