About Me
Sven Faller is a freelance musician based in Munich/Germany. He is a member of Trio Elf, whose debut "Elf" was praised by critics both in Europe and Japan.As a bass player he has toured the US, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Turkey, Greece and Singapore and performed with Robbie Ameen, Karen Atkins, Johannes Enders, Jenny Evans, Chico Freeman,
Arlo Guthrie, Beat Kaestli, Gunther Klatt, Charlie Mariano, Judy Niemack, Bobby Sanabria’s
AfroCuban Big Band, Rhiannon, Alexa Rodrian, Peter Tuscher, Lisa Wahlandt,
Bobby Watson and Konstantin Wecker. He has studied at Anton Bruckner Conservatory/Linz and Richard Strauss Conservatory/Munich and holds a BFA in Contemporary Music And Jazz from The Mannes College of Music/New York City.
After finishing his studies he worked as staff composer for Elias Arts New York, where he lived from 1994 to 2000.
As a freelance composer he wrote countless pieces for films, commercials and video clips."Dreamscenes" for Showtime (Velvet Design) was awarded the silver world medal at New York Festivals 2002, bronze at ADC Berlin 2003 and winner of the Animago Award."Megalicious", a campaign for greek television (Velvet Design) was a finalist at New York Festivals 2006 and winner of the Animago and Ermis awards 06."Red Lips" by director Matthias Zentner was a musical collaboration with composer/guitarist Gerd Baumann
