One of the hardest questions in life I think... Who am I? Who am I really?
I am a wife. A very pleasing postion to be in. I love being married. I can't get over the fact that I always have a partner in every aspect of my life. I always have someone on my team. Having a best friend that understands every thing about me, or is at the very least willing to try to understand me, is absolutely indispensible.
I am a mother of one daughter - one gorgeous, adorable, humorous, intelligent daughter. What a priviledge to be so intricately involved in another human being's life! She gives me joy, strength and, well, to be honest, character. There is nothing in my life more challenging or rewarding than being her mother. I am constantly stopping to make sure that I am not taking a moment for granted or trying desperately to commit to memory the way she looks right now. (I am absolutely fearful that I won't remember her as a child when she's older - the way she feels, looks and smells; the colour of her hair, the smallness of her hands and fingers; her smile; her frown; the very essence of who she is right now.) I am someone's "mom"!!! Ahhhhh!
I am the lead singer and rhythm guitarist in my very own band, She Says Electric. I go through all the motions of being a musician and song writer, though I doubt myself daily on those accounts. I secretly hope that being insecure about it is the very thing that shows me that's who I truely am. I wonder, will I ever stop being amazed when I do musiciany-type stuff?
I am a spiritual being. I am growing in love and forgiveness; learning to walk in peace and be intimate with God.
I am walking this amazing life between reality and dreams. Though my dreams are, on most days, a reality, it's not as void of challenges as one might think it should be. But it's worth it!
... And that there is as much as I have ever written about myself. That only leaves one more thing...
