About Me

I'll try and keep this short....this is my music page.I did an album in late 2005/early 2006 when I was lucky enough to have quite a lot of access to a nice studio in Birmingham,England where I'm from. It was with a label called Incubator Records which was really something to do with South Birmingham College but I was never sure what. Anyway, it's called "One", not very imaginative but all I could think of at the time. Since then I've been promoting it whenever I can at whatever gig I've been doing wherever in the world I've been allowed to play. You can see the people who have influenced me in that box to the left of this one but if you check out all the top friends of mine on here, you'll see more of my influences. I've sent this to all sorts of management companies and record labels and they've all said no or haven't called me back (it must be rubbish then). I'm now trying various ways of recording a next album, a next collection of songs, whilst trying to write more whenever I can but that's tricky sometimes. I play guitar, bass and sing and I've just bought a piano and a cat (though the last one is harder to play). If you like my music enough to actually want a cd then go on cd baby and order it or if you can't be bothered to do that, sendme a message on here and I might put one in the post to you depending on how many padded envelopes I have. I live in Sweden with my wife in a house which is nice. I don't take myself seriously and I'm not trying to change the world with my music. i'd just like to write some nice songs.here'e a bunch of quotes about my stuff: "A collection of well-crafted songs, tipping its hat along the way to Prince, via Tom Waits, Hendrix and Paul Simon" - my friend Tom Purvay, who doesn't write for a magazine but I like what he said so that shoudn't make it any less valid."Classy and jazzy for sure". www.glasswerk.co.uk "Needs appreciation by everyone" Exposed magazine "A voice that belies his youthful years" Ryan's Gig Guide
