About Me

"You were born an original. Don't die a copy. "

I was born on the 22nd September 1989, so you can work out yourself how old I am. This myspace is used for music purposes but soon as alot of people are now using it for a personal webspace ive decided to do the same and add a little bit of my style and flava to show you what im about. Into lots of things, best to ask if you want to find out.
My First basic ideas and understanding of "how-to-make beats" were made concrete after compiling my own arrangements using Music on the Playstation 1. Soon after this point i began experimenting with the "Dance Ejay" Software and then eventually purchasing "Hip-Hop Ejay". From here on (around Mid 2004), I can say this is where my interest in "Sound Design" became a hobby and part of my life.
The next step from here on was getting my hands on FL Studio 3. From here I grasped alot more of the technicalities of "Music Producetion"; ie, basic synthesis, sampling etc. At this time i was makin what was and still is known as "Grime". I soon fell out of love with this music and ceased the production of my own "Grime" Material. Not long after, I soon progressed onto later FL Studios such as FL Studio 6. After a recommendation from numerous piers i then decided to attempt making beats on Reason. This is my prefered choice of software however due to its limits, I am now making the big switch from Reason to Cubase. Other software i use include Recycle, Soundforge etc and quite a few Vst programs for Cubase. They shall be kept secret.
Primarily with music my first love is; Drum & Bass. The same goes for what I play as a DJ & "Producer" (Yet to Prove my worth to such a title). Its hard to recall where my Love with the music began. I expect it would be growing up as a todler constantly hearing the Sub-Bass rattling the ceiling as a result of my brother being a DJ also. I learnt to beat match when i was around 12 years old and heavily into the UK Garage scene. However i did not get into DJing properly until i was 15. My first set of decks were "christened" with my brother's UK Garage collection that i inherited. Soon after I Began finding my own feet on the purchasing of Vinyl and much of my money was spent on Beats from artists such as Macabre Unit, Plasticman, Mark One, Wonder etc... So far as a young "Producer"/ Beat-Maker, I am receiving some recognition on my material via DJ plays etc. My biggest achievement to date would be "Airing" of two tracks on a Drum & Bass Show on BBC Radio 1Xtra. I Hope, and will work sensibly to make this become a regular occurance.
My Record Collection Consists Of: Drum & Bass - Quite a vast range from mostly Liquid to Tech, Soulful, Intelligent & Good Looking Records. As the younger brother to a DJ, i have inherited his Old Skool & Jungle Collection from the years of 93-98. On that tip I regard myself as being quite educated on the scene even though i did not directly see it progressing to what it is now.
As a Listener of music, genres of Drum & Bass, Hip Hop, RnB mainly make up my iPod music library. When I can Get It To Work Ill always be listening to It. If You any recognise any of the names on the left "Music" Column
