About Me

Heavy Duty is a Bedford based party promotion run by the Bludrins Family. Mainly a collection of Brothers and Cousins; heavy duty is supported by many close friends in the organisation of and live musical showcasing...............Self-sufficient in Sound Systems, Sound Engineering, DJ live performance and MC vocal ablility; the Bludrins family have always lived for the party side of the music............. Mainly promoting Drum N Bass, the Buldrins also get involved with Dub, Reggae, Old skool, Jungle, Hip-hop, Breakbeat, Old Skool Garage and House amongst other genres....... Having always thown parties here, there and everywhere, the family decided to take it more serious and launched a regular night in Bedford Town. Closely working with The Paddington, 2007 saw Heavy Duty throw many great events with many more to come, building on the success so far.......... In 2008 the HEAVY DUTY promotion brought many different new ideas to the party experience, branching out with many new big DJ names, Live showcase Drum and Bass and many more improvements to their lighting and sound output........ Working closely with 'The Angel' music venue and 'Audio Transmission', the Bludrins have ventured out even further in the rave scene securing the services of big names to headline their events........ One of a few promotions to bring multi-genre nights to Bedford, HEAVY DUTY events have built up a reputation as a great night out with warm and friendly atmosphere to go along! With support from some of the best local DJ's around, playing some of the best sounds about, all amplified through the professional Heavy Duty sound system; the Heavy Duty events can only grow bigger and better!........
