Haydon Spenceley - Circles on CD and Amazon MP3

About Me

“Circles” is the debut solo album from singer-songwriter Haydon Spenceley. A marked departure from former Freeslave frontman Haydon's musical output to date, “Circles” straddles the line between Pop and Electronica.
From the opening, mini-symphonic strains of 'Overture', to the last, widescreen breaths of closer "Revelation", this is an album with something to say, for those with ears to hear. "Here and Now" and "Let Me Out" are propelled on danceable grooves which juxtapose with a desperation for something greater than everyday life. Other tracks, such as "Life's Great Test" give a snapshot into a pained but hopeful soul.
With the start of a new partnership with Knuci Records, UK tours with Superhero and Quench on the horizon, along with jaunts to Europe and America, “Circles” is the sound of an artist finding his feet, an artist worth watching in the months and years to come.
We’re not the only ones who think so either. Haydon has been asked to be a Cultural Ambassador for the 2012 Cultural Olympiad in London, a privileged position that will, potentially, grant huge opportunities for his songs and message to be heard far and wide.
A final word, we’ll leave it to the critics: "If anybody is at all under the impression that Christian music is stagnant, or simply lesser versions of it’s secular counterparts, allow yourself to be cured by Haydon Spenceley....pioneering a new way forward for music. " Esther Jones, www.ccmworld.co.uk
