About Me

Currently un-named as an artist Ashley who is now 19 began making tracks at the age of 16 from his bedroom in his home town, Bedford, UK.Having always been a fan of the urban music scene, stretching from when UKG was at its finest, through to when Grime took over (2001 - 2005) and then gradually making the change from grime to DNB, realising that once you get past the commercial tracks within it, the scene is a never-ending tunnel of music.Whilst in the trainsition of music between grime to drum n bass in late 2006 Ashley began producing around the same time, for the 1st year Grime was his genre of choice, but having fallen in love with DNB it was time to make the switch and produce it full time. experimenting with dubstep & hiphop occasionally has never made a huge impact and Ashley always falls back on his true love within music - Drum N Bass.Admitedly Ashley still has a hell of a long way to go within the scene, with a vast expanding knowledge and hunger to dig deeper within the scene Ashley plans to take producing as far as he can (whilst still remaining a hobbie), providing house mates can put up with the constant music comming from his room at uni.Theres not much more to say, except a few shout outs: Joe for providing reason. mickey (K-Dan) for help with in production. Aaron V (Bionic) & James (DJ Emz) for playing out tracks regularly on local radio. Cass (Michael Mason) & Phil (P.Pull Beats) for inspiration / help within production, Sir Mitchie for promoting tracks and posting up on the blog. aswell as everyone else playing the tracks on this page and supporting the music / scene.

Influences: My taste of music was influenced at an early age. my sister was the one who bought me oxide n neutrinos album - execute, and since then, i was hooked on urban music..........One of the biggest influences in my music was my friends... back when i was 14, i wanted to get involved with music... Without most of my friends being involved with the Grime scene i wouldnt have began to produce..........My love for the scene no longer exists. but Grime was my first major influence in production. i wont go into depth naming names. but everyone making it happen from the start of the scene - 2005..........Drum & Bass is now my favourite genre, and in my opinion the most diverse & amazing genre of music on the planet. nearly every artist within the liquid / tech / dark step genre is being played by myself regularly. from record lables such as - hospital, renegade hardware, DSM, good looking, horizons, soul:r, signature, metalheadz, shogun audio, sgn:ltd, funktion records, CIA, spearhead, bingo, symmetry, innerground etc etc etc.. the list continues!

A good refelction on 2007 :)

well 2008 has begun.. only 2 days in.. and already things seem on the up!!! im currently listening to some good old hospital dnb to liven the mood :) back to school 2moro though :( but ah well at lea...
