About Me

Beguiling Nordic foursome Hallucinations with harmonica slides, pumping kicks and vocals like a breath of fresh air. Fronting the band is blonde haired, deep eyed German/Swedish/ Icelandic/Dutch/? songstress who isnt shy of showing her intimate relationships with the likes of Janis and Joni- singing with a carefree soul ness that recalls Rickie Lee Jones. Her vocals are counter pointed effectively by Cowboy Jack-Lumber guitarist/singer/harmonica player Clinton Boland, and young and excited boy drum beater. With a sound pulling us so sweetly back and forth through four decades Hallucinations prove that acoustic instruments can also deliver power and dynamics with songs building to peaks of intensity. The band has in their five and a half years long life been on two independently organised tours to Japan and Germany, toured in the UK, and are currently working on their first album and gigging in Oslo, Norway. -Nia Gibbons, Gigwise
