Pipedream

Pipedream is an up and coming band from Oslo, Norway. The last few months they have proved themselves to be an exploding and tight live band. The band has visited most of the venues in Oslo as well as toured Norway from coast to coast. Pipedream have also had the pleasure of supporting great bands like The Wombats and 1990s from the UK. The good reviews, rumours and references led to a showcase gig at by:Larm 2008, the most known festival for up and coming bands in Norway. The band has just signed a deal with Sony BMG to release a single, as a result of winning the international competition Urband Playground. Pipedream played at the Norwegian Underwood stage during the well-known Norwegian Wood Festival in Oslo. Over 400 bands participated in the demo competition and Pipedream was one of 8 bands to play. Pipedream became Underwood-band of the year, and recieved a great prize from Gramo and Norwegian Wood.With diverse musical backgrounds and influences Pipedream has developed into an energetic rock orchestra with thick and melodic walls of sound fed with both pop and rock.As well as playing live gigs, Pipedream is also writing and rehearsing new material for their debut album.
