Thinking,
thinking about thinking,
not thinking,
walking,
seeking conditions in which I might feel inspired,
reading,
writing,
plants and trees and mountains,
traveling,
doing anything with my family (especially cuddling),
singing; oftentimes loudly and sometimes badly,
making jewelry,
smelling yummy (smokefree is the way to be...mmm...),
spending time with the greatest mom and dad ever (mine),
thinking of ways to beget changes for the greater good,
ignoring the phone,
dancing like a maniac,
designing things to create,
doing stuff with friends,
air hockey,
sewing,
laughing hysterically,
being with my brilliant and gorgeous children (na klar!),
playing tennis,
seeking the perfect temperature,
yelling senselessly at perceived "evil" people,
battling these genetic excessive facial "lines" (wrinkles, lol)
dreaming about the future,
living in the NOW and appreciating every moment of my bittersweet but beautiful reality!

I'd like to meet:
People with a brilliant or goofy or odd sense of humor.
Devoted doting impassioned tender loving mommies.
Aware/conscious/awake, happy, healthy people.
People who get excited about science.
People who have the ability to empathize and imagine what its like to walk in someone else's shoes.
Oh, and if you take yourself way too seriously, are narrow-minded and short-sighted I will do my best to avoid you.
Music:
There is so much I like I cannot even begin to make a list. However, I do NOT like gangsta rap, teeny-bopper pop or most pop unless its from the 80's or earlier, Christian crap or most country music (except I like that "I Hope You Dance" song, I'm a mommy, okay?) and I like Patsy Cline and stuff like that if that's considered country. So I pretty much hate everything that's on the radio except NPR.
Movies:
"Into the Wild" as I strongly identify with the main character and he also reminds me very much of my brother. Same intensity, same dissatisfaction with the way the world is, same youthful quests on the road with fellow vagabonds, and although I managed to escape that sort of tragedy (thanks to my children), my brother did not. The true story was first told in a book of the same name by Jon Krakauer but I haven't read it.
"No Country for Old Men"
"The Last Unicorn" (1983)
Television:
Only when I can learn from it or laugh at it.
And Medium.
And Yo Gabba Gabba.
Which Elvgren Pin-Up Girl Are You
Gentlemen Prefer...?
You like boys a lot, don't you? I would tell you to chill, but with someone as far gone as you, I'm sure it's pointless. If you got it, flaunt it!

Books:
Yup.
Ummm, how about Spike Gillespie?
Poppy Z. Brite is brilliant. I've been in love with her work longer than I've been in love with my husband, and they both continue to give me good reasons to stay in love, which, as we all know, is a rare and precious thing.
And THE greatest, Tom Robbins, of course.
Otherwise I mostly like non-fiction.
Heroes:
My daddy, an exceptional man who has guided me well on my journey of becoming a real woman; living fully, authentically, with good sense and good humor!
