Azrael is the representation of resistance against the standarts of nowadays society, social restraint and the hypocrisy of religion.The band Azrael from Gladbeck/Gelsenkirchen was formed on 21.09.07 by the bassist and vocalist Sethos and the guitarist Morgon with the intention to play Black/Death Metal. From the beginning they decided not to agree any compromises regarding the music or even change the manning of the instruments which is: 2 guitars, 1 bass, drums and vocals. Talos and Blaze joined as guitarist and drummer a few weeks later to complete the manning. After a few months Talos left the band, but fortunately Ariez joined to displace him. The band is now writing songs for the first album which can hopefully appear in the end of 2008 and bring another breath of nihilistic Black/Death Metal abroad the szene.
