Creation

[ITALIANO] I Creation nascono nel settembre del 2002 come cover-band dei Dream Theater, da un'iniziativa di Angelo e Francesco Caccamo insieme al tastierista Dario Lastrucci, il bassista Andrea Radicchi ed il cantante Gabriele Vivarelli. Un progetto nato con troppe problematiche infatti ha tenuto il gruppo lontano dalle scene, fino al marzo 2004, data che lo vede partecipare ad un concerto presso l'Enigma di Campi Bisenzio, insieme ai Seven Gates (Power-Metal band fiorentina) e a Blaze Bailey, ex lead vocal degli Iron Maiden. Una buona iniezione di fiducia per la band, ma insufficiente per sanare alcuni attriti che si sono verificati fin dall’inizio. Il bassista Andrea Radicchi decide di separarsi dai Creation e da lì a poco, anche Gabriele. Dopo un anno passato alla ricerca di nuovi elementi i Creation reclutano Juri Costantino (al basso) e GianAndrea Sarti (alla voce). Con la nuova line-up i Creation partecipano al Kellerkontest 2006-2007, da lì a poco GianAndrea causa divergenze artistiche, esce dalla band. La scelta cade su Alessio Gori, cantante dei Flashback Of Anger (Power-Metal band fiorentina) raggiungendo in brevissimo tempo un ottimo affiatamento con il resto della band. Ad aprile 2007 Juri abbandona i Creation a due mesi della finale del contest, ma la band non demorde infatti riesce a trovare un bassista provvisorio (Matteo Meucci) per concludere e vincere nel giugno dello stesso anno. A questo punto i Creation trovandosi senza bassista si rimettono immediatamente alla ricerca di un elemento fisso per il ruolo rimasto vacante e dopo lunghe selezioni riescono finalmente a trovare "Nicola Nuzzolese". [ENGLISH] Creation was born in september 2002 as a Dream Theater's cover band, by an initiative of Angelo and Francesco Caccamo along with the keyborder Dario Lastrucci, the bassist Andrea Radicchi and the singer Gabriele Vivarelli. A project born with too much problems, in fact the group has been away from the scenes until march 2004, date in which they take part in a concert at “Enigma” in Campi Bisenzio (FI), together with Seven Gates (Florence's Power- Metal band) and Blaze Bailey, Iron Maiden's ex-lead vocal; this has been certainly a good trust's injection, but not sufficient to heal the frictions that were created till the beginning. Andrea Radicchi decides to separates from Creation and few times after Gabriele too. After a year spent in searching of new elements Creation enlists Juri Costantino (Bass) and GianAndrea Sarti (Voice). With this new line-up Creation takes part to the “Kellerkontest” (at the Keller-Platz in Prato) 2006-2007, but few times after GianAndrea leaves the band because of artistic divergences. The choice falls on Alessio Gori, singer of the band “Flashback Of Anger” (Florence's Power-Metal band), reaching immediatly an excellent agreement with the rest of the band. In April 2007 Juri leaves Creation, only two months before the kellerkontest's final, but fortunately the band manage to find a temporary bass-player (Matteo Meucci) to conclude and win the contest in june. At this point the band was, once again, without a bass-player, but after a lot of months of searches and auditions the band, finally, enlists "Nicola Nuzzolese" as bass player.
