Music and broadcasting is a huge part of my life.
I'm a radio air personality, a radio programmer, a radio mixshow DJ, a mobile/nightclub DJ, and a broadcast media company executive. I've programmed music and worked at three Chicago radio stations, ENERGY 92.7/5 (air personality), CYBER RADIO 92.7 (music director/ cyberjock), and ENERGY 88.7 (program director/ air personality). I've also worked as a weekend air personality for Milwaukee's hit music station, 103.7 KISS-FM , and hosted a guest shift at Chicagoland's NINE-FM.

About my broadcasting company
I'm the President/CEO of JAMTRAXX MEDIA, INC , a company I founded in 1993 right here in Chicago. Our biggest and fastest-growing division is RADIOMIXES , which provides mainstream, dance, rhythmic, and old school mixshows to over a hundred radio stations across the United States and Canada such as ENERGY 92.7 San Francisco and 103.7 KISS-FM Milwaukee. Our first affiliate was B96 WBBM-FM Chicago, and it has been a wild ride since! Our VISUALOVERLOAD division provides web and graphic design solutions, our AUDITORYOVERLOAD division provides radio imaging and audio production, and ENERGYCHICAGO.com is our local dance music promotion arm as well as the legacy site of ENERGY 92.7/5 . About my love of music -- especially DANCE MUSIC
I've worked as a record rep for SOS Records and Baby-O Records, promoting Max-A-Million ("Fat Boy"), Roula ("Lick It"), Jaime Principle, and others. I've worked freelance for Dance Music Authority magazine and served on the national mixshow panel. I've interviewed lots of great artists over the years, such as Erasure, Amber, BT, Darude, Chris Cox, Barry Harris, TKA, Rockell, Georgie Porgie, ATC, Sarina Paris, Safri Duo, Bananarama, Blank & Jones, Blessid Union of Souls, Shaggy, Kool Rock Steady, and so many more. I've had fun moments with Shakira, Kelly Clarkson, Ryan Cabrera, and others as well. I was a programming assistant for Modern Tracks, the radio station music service. I also participated in the Committee for the Advancement of Dance Music (CADM), a lobbying arm of NARAS to bring dance music as a recognized category in the Grammy Awards. Mind you-- I do like lots of other forms of music as well! Pop, alternative rock, hip-hop, jazz... I just can't get into country.
About me in my spare time
When I'm not doing anything related to radio or music, I'm hanging out in Chicago's Chinatown. I'm an avid piano player, and I occasionally sing. I'm teaching myself and neighborhood kids how to play the electric guitar, electric bass, drums, and keyboards. The lovable nerd comes out with a vengeance sometimes. I enjoy playing old school video games on the original systems. I love reading Star Trek novels and watching TOS/TNG/DS9 reruns. (NO--I will never dress up at Star Trek conventions, nor do I know how to speak Klingon.) I currently also serve on the Parish Council and School Board of St. Therese Catholic Church and School . I also serve those two institutions in many capacities such as youth director, event coordinator, and assistant in development. Friends and family are of major importance in my life. I like traveling to different countries, and I go golfing whenever I can.
