It's what I like... and?
Television programs today suck. No really. It's all reality tv which is so ironic because theres hardly anything real about them aside from stupid. I do have some rare favs here and there but I just don't turn on the tv unless im popping in a dvd or watching the History channel when they're doing a special showing on space and beyond.
-Family Guy
-MONK
-Nip Tuck
-Futurama
-Animal Planet
-Dave Chapelle Show
-The Twighlight Zone re-runs
I was completely captivated by James O'Barr's The Crow complete paperback. If you havent read it yet.. you need to. Both words and art express true sad and vengeful emotions one can easily relate with and you can feel the bursting pain throughout each page of the book. What is love?
I've enjoyed other books as well but not lately. My mind is tangled up, I can't find enough peace to enjoy a book. The Crow remains my favorite for its uniqueness and perhaps its strong connection to my own dreary life.
My mother. Though I hardly see her, I know she's out there fighting her battles still.
I may never understand where the strength comes from but sometimes Im convinced the answer isnt far from my own flesh and blood.
Other mentions:
Al Pacino, Bruce Lee, Evel Knievel, Rob Liefeld, Todd McFarlane, Sam Kieth, Shigeru Miyamoto (he's the creator of Mario and Nintendo), Kevin Eastman, John Pound, whoever created Madballs and people who fight the good fight to help make life better not just for us, but our scarred planet as well.
