This is a short video clip from CLASH at CLAIREMONT 2. This was an exhibition skateboard and BMX benifit event supporting GRIND FOR LIFE. Helping people with cancer skate and destroy cancer ( grindforlife.org ) and the YMCA. The founder Mike Rogers is in the first seconds of the video below.
as part of the SKATE ESCAPES package we all recieved VIP passes to this event and also got to skate a bit. Chris Conway the Mastermind who put this all together of 3C Consulting.
( Whoeskateboards.com Whoskates.com Skateescapes.com Grindforlife.org ) gave us one helluva wild ride. i cant wait for what he pulls out of his sleeve on Skate Escapes 2.
As part of the tour we were honored to visit the Bob Burnquist compound and ride the quater landing part of the Mega ramp and his awesome vert ramp. Hang and watch Andy Macdonald, Buster Halterman and Andy Taylor and his brother Dillion Taylor hit up the Mega ramp. let me tell you pics do no justice to what this ramp feels and looks like in person even from the top. ITS HUGE!!!!
We also got to skate the private and non accessible Tony Hawks Boom Boom vert ramp. Thanks to Tony Hawk and Kevin Staab. We also hit up Sector 9s private indoor Bowl. That was one of the smoothest funnest Bowls ive ridden.
Also Buddy Carr of Tailtap.com gave us a tour of the OG of my era withstanding time Tracker Truck factory. Vinton Pacetti
of the 187 Professional skateboard pads was also there hangin out. And we also skated the newly opened Pala Skatepark ( Palaskatepark.com ) in the Pala Band of Mission Indians reservation.
( Palatribe.com ) Leroy H. Miranda Jr. the Vice Chairman and his crew were most welcoming. this is one of the best skateparks ive ever skated. Paul Wisniewski of Greenissue ( Greenissue.com ) hung out with us giving Chris a hand and killing it everywhere we skated. Ray Zimmerman of the well known locally feared Concrete Disiples
( concretedisiples.com ) was there every step of the way taking wicked pics. he even got a few that made me look like I knew what I was doing. Kudos Ray!

all i can say is. This was one of the best times of my life other than having being blessed with a beautiful great wife and two beautiful kids. and working in comics. This was surely a once in a lifetime weekend.
