Solitude, born May 17th, 1990, got his start as a rapper due to all the hard times in his life. Losing his father twice to the penitentiary, dealing with the resulting alcoholism, his mother’s life-endangering accident, losing his house, and raising himself from the age of ten gave him all the inspiration, life experience, and determination he needs to keep writing.
Solitude’s main goal in the music industry is not to hit big and fizzle out, but to become a record mogul and secure a career based upon longevity. One of Solitude’s many catch phrases clearly explains his aspirations from both a professional and personal stand point: “I push on through.†No matter how deep or complex the path in front of him is, Solitude does exactly that: pushes forward as hard as possible to move ahead in life.
Solitude is an artist, not just a rapper. He does not feed into the current trends or redirect his career path to fit into that category; he goes against the grain. The time-tested acts before him are role models for what Solitude views as the next generation.
At the age of fourteen, Solitude had a front page article published about him (non-pseudonym) in the Waterbury Republican for his starting of Do It Up Productions.
Solitude is self taught, has produced all of his own music, self-promoted and financed five concerts as headliner, and helped various artists by producing their songs and including them as opening acts for his shows. Solitude has performed at countless birthday parties and private gatherings. Solitude won the (BEST DUO) award, although Solitude is a solo performer, this award was given to honor the immense relationship Solitude has with his production company Do It Up Productions. Solitude has also performed along many other great bands at the Webster Underground & performed on and been interviewed on JCTV as well as The Ebyone Show through the the SKYE 13 Cable channel. Also, Solitude has been the winner of the JCT Magazine monthly magazine cover. Solitude has blessed the JmA awards with a performance at Hogan's Hideaway. In addition, Solitude has created an outreach & recruitment effort through the internet for the American Red Cross. (Joyce Ramsey)
Now, age seventeen, Solitude returns number one search results on Google.com, a search engine which indexes more than eight billion pages. After more than six years in the music business, and plenty of success, he plans on much more.
Feel free to leave Solitude a voice comment!
