Leady got listening to hip hop back in 1994 when he was only 9 years old. From that first moment his passion for this new found music grew and grew inside him untill it was all he could listen to. After having alot of problems in life and having alot on his plate, Leady decided he needed some kind of emotional outlet. It was this, that made him decide he wanted to start writing, so at the age of 14, the self proclaimed northern twat sat in his room with a pen and a pad and started jotting down lyrics. Admittidly they were not that great, but it was his first stepping stone to getting where he is now. After writing for abit, he fealt he wasnt getting better and wanted to improve. It was at this time one of his friends linked him to rapmusic.com, the hip hop forum that would start the elevation of this talented artist we have today. He would spend hours upon hours sat at the computer just posting up lyrics on this site, taking in all the advice and using it best he could. However, eventually this wasnt enough, and Lee "Leady" Leadbitter wanted to go further, so he went and bought a cheap 5 argos mic to hook to his PC and downloaded a ripped version of cool edit pro. So it began, he was putting his words from paper, onto a beat. Despite his first song being well below a decent standard, it still meant alot to him as its his first step in the right direction. He would record every chance he had, and elevated as much possible using forums such as rapmusic.com, lyrikal.co.uk but to name a few to get advice on how to better himself. Eventually he started getting into battling out and about on the streets, and it was this that started him off taking music so seriously. Working day and night to perfect his skills, constantly trying new rhyme schemes, writing structures and deliveries, he was determined to prove to people but more importantly, himself, that he could get to the level he wanted to be. Finally, after years of hard work and determination, here he is, working on his first solo CD "hip hop junky vol.1" and an E.P with Ekizel from Scotland's Granite Emcees called "Across The Border" featuring some amasing artist's. He is also featuring on mixtapes, radio shows and in clubs. Watch out for this up and coming artist, he is sure to make some noise in the scene.
