This is an introduction to the man - the myth.............................. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>> Easy people, check out my new mix CD ‘CHARITY SHOP TAPES’, it’s out now and is available from our web site, www.whiteeyedtigers.com. I’ve lived in doorways and slept under boxes to bring the dustiest of old records back to life and it’s taken over a year of my time to put together. I’ve put together a mix 60 minutes long and used a total of 84 records, ranging from the 50’s to the 90’s and with a sprinklin’ of the double O’s, there’s something for everyone. It started with a bit of advice that DJ Z-TRIP gives on SCRATCH the Movie, where he recommends takin’ the time to put a BPM on all the records you own, so I did. Then one day at work, the idea to use all the music and DVD’s I’ve bought from charity shops and second hand outlets gave the mix a theme and direction. I put all the records in a box and lined them up in BPM order; this was to be my life for the next year or so. At times it became frustrating, but there was so many moments of satisfaction and achievement that the dull evenings were worth it..................................The artwork was something that materialised over time. I ended up getting up at half 6 on a Sunday morning to have the photo’s taken so we wouldn’t get interrupted in any way, they worked out well and I have to say a massive thankyou to BIG TEN DEN...................................The artwork has to be credited to two people really, THE BOOG’ and WISDOMTOOTH. The cover was an idea I had that I couldn’t achieve using Photoshop (this later resulted in the design for the limited edition sticker). All the other artwork was born when the man WIZ smashed a bottle of creative fingers over the keyboard. Thanks brothers........ ............................................................ .......................The first 100 copies of the CD posted out will each include 1X white vinyl sticker with black print, this is the sketch I did in Photoshop to explain my idea of how I wanted it to look......................................... ................................
