Important News: THE NEW CD "Now...Here....This" Due soon!!!
Stay tuned
Eurovox evolved in 2004 when front man Mat Hammond (lead vocal /guitar), Steve Flores (bass/vocals), and Jeff Tellez (drums/vocal) joined producer Robbie Watson primed with some brand new tunes that are now firmly established on their debut release, "This Is ....Eurovox", a 12 track CD album bursting at the seams with Mod Power Pop with the energy level at top notch reminiscent of the days of The Jam or The Chords in full flight! And to me, it's the energy burst this scene needed too!First track, "Billy No Mates", (lonely boy with too much time in his hands) a fast paced Mod popper with shades of early Jam/Weller, fantastic opener track;
"The Story Of A Boy & A Girl", (a holiday romance), continues the vibe;
"Love On The Airwaves", (the power of radio meets fantasy) aptly named track, we love to play this on our airwaves!
Flowing nicely into, "She Knows Everything", (yes she does! Enough said!) is this the Direct Hits orTime UK? superb track;
"La La La", (a drinking song with a twist of lime) got one hell of an infectious chorus, watch out youll be singing this to yourself shortly;
"Happy Hour", (not about drinking, but love with a severe hangover) no not a cover of the Housemartins hit, this is a 100 times better;
"The World Won't Wait", (funnily enough, a song to help a friend) mellowed out man! Flowing spaced out like the Pop Psyche of the late 60`s, another top track;
followed by the Watson-penned "Tonight, Tonight", (a salute to the lovely ladies of Liverpool);
and A night on the Tiles", (yes a drinking song, but with a happy ending, God bless you Dad!) a lyrical masterpiece, just got to be my favorite track on the album;
"In For A Penny", (love London style), Mr Hammond is in top form again sounding like a young angst fueled Ed Ball;
flowing into the Billy Bragg/60`s influenced "Ships", (we have all fallen in love with that person across the room);
the last track, "Touch The Sky", (a celebration of John and eurovoxs future), is a big meaty chunk of modern Mod pop ending 40 minutes of pure-quality-Mod-ear-candy.Borrowing a phrase from the lads themselves, "With the record completed, and already receiving critical acclaim from both the public and press alike, Eurovox is currently engaged in serving up the fruits of their labor to a hungry public................... Ladies and Gentlemen, dinner is served!", well I just have to agree on that score, its the quality that counts!

This Is....Eurovox...... This Is....Quality!
From a Review By Buster, www.modradiouk.com, With added comments from eurovox!
eurovox are recieving heavy plays on Mod Radio UK.
As soon as the rushing guitars, hyper-speed drums, and clipped, heavily accented vocals of "The Story of a Boy and a Girl" came on, flashbacks of the Jam's "Eaton Rifles" filled the mind. Eurovox are not subtle in revealing their influences; this is a band with shameless yen for mod rock from the Who to the Jam. Shockingly, much of the CD is actually superior to Jam leader Paul Weller's couple of solo records.
By Elizabeth Jacobsen, Entertainment.inuk.comThe evidence is undeniable: Eurovox equip themselves with borrowed parts: chunks of guitar shrapnel left behind by the Mohawk hordes from London's Class of '77. With such artists as Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party, and Franz Ferdinand taking off in the U.S., there seems to be another British Invasion under way, one that has the potential of topping the last U.K. infiltration of this country in the mid-'90s. This is classic British rock with an irresistibly stubborn commitment of remaining true to it's Royal blue origins.
