Classical Violinist/Rocker Chick with a twist!

About Me

I've shared the stage with all sorts of fabulous artists/bands, including: Alicia Keys, John Mayer, Mary J Blige, Jay-Z, Method Man, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Josh Groban, Lifehouse, Tommy Lee (Motley Crue), Gilby Clarke (Guns & Roses), Johnny Colt (Black Crowes), Frank Sinatra, Jr., Harry Connick, Jr., The Kingston Trio, Dickey Betts (Allman Brothers), and John Raitt. I've also gotten to perform in some pretty incredible venues--from places like Madison Square Garden and the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, to the theatre at the MGM Grand Foxwoods, to the Schoenbrunn Palace in Vienna, Austria and the Basilique Sacre-Coeur in Paris, France. I perform frequently with One Sweet World, the premier tribute to Dave Matthews Band in the northeast. If you haven't experienced one of our shows, you've got to get to one! While I'm pretty versatile and happy to play for any singer/songwriters who want to add string tracks to their albums, my current goal is to start playing heavier music with heavier bands. If you've got a band and want to experiment, get in touch! I've got bunches of ideas, but I need a solid outlet for them! I used to teach orchestra in public schools in upstate NY and Boston. Now, I work for Mark Wood, lead electric violinist of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Together, we're creating new opportunities for string players who no longer feel like being boxed in. Our "Electrify Your Strings" program is a nationally-touring music education series. We travel to schools all over the country, forming rock orchestras and revitalizing school music programs. We also run Wood Violins, manufacturers of the world's most incredible custom, hand-crafted electric violins and cellos. If you're interested in Wood Violins, Electrify Your Strings, or collaborating on a project, feel free to email me: [email protected] ----------------------------------------
