About Me

Influenced by a never ending stream of pop idol programmes, in what is no more than a glammed up version of your average Karaoke, an aged Rockidle took his tunes and battered acoustic beyond the four walls, (2 damp), 4 pidgeons, and 3 squirrels to one producer Hill Briggs one sunny day after scouring the back pages of NME.A keen songwriter for many years, those 150+ songs needed coming to life and thus an attempt was made to infiltrate the bubblegum pop market.2003 saw the recording of a demo 11 track album entitled "Sunny Side Up".2006 saw some further recordings, this time under the watchful guise of MC and Tap, to feature on a second self financed album, ( finances being as they are we could be talking 2020 before competion), but as an apertif for the fully completed version, 4 tracks are featured here, from the haunting ballad "Belvedere Drive", to the futuristic Oasis inspired anthem "Alcohol Dreams".(Futuristic in that depending on the time of day you are reading this, tomorrow you may well be waking up in an alcohol dream like state).4 years on, and after performances on Londons acoustic circuit (Hard Rock Cafe, Rock Garden, Hope and Anchor, Olympia, 100 Club among others), with musician extraordinare Matt Cowley, Rockidle has returned to his pipe and slipper existence, but those dreams of being published never die, and Rockidle's mission to win Eurovision lives on................................Enjoy the ride........................................................ .........

Sounds Like: Somebody who had a few ideas kicking round in his head knowing that as a musician not good enough to cut it, but with the support of the musos around him, can add some colour to his views on life, creating well crafted poppy tunes that you can't but help tapping your feet along to !!Well here's hoping !!!!
