STS 4 LIFE

About Me

"I Don't Know" LIVE @ PHS - 1989
..
Add to My Profile | More Videos I started my first band, M.F.P. in 1986 with my best friend and childhood neighbor, Damien . When M.F.P. went on hiatus in 1990, I formed Chapter Eleven . Chapter Eleven ended after making 2 albums, mainly due to the difficulty of having a CT band while going to college in VT. After 3 years of college, I moved to Boston in the summer of 1993 and started a band called the doosies . When our drummer moved away, we found a new one and changed our name to The Control Group . Shortly after the name change, Keller left the band and The Control Group became a trio. While I was still playing in the The Control Group, I started writing and recording demos with my friend The Chris, under the name Grasshopper . The guys we recruited to join the band hated the songs and the name, so we scrapped those songs and became Bradshaw . Meanwhile, I was also playing Bass in a 3rd band called The Jack McCoy's . After all 3 of those bands were finished, I played drums in a garage-pop band called TRUSTUS . TRUSTUS ended after our bass player moved to London. While in transition, I had a very short lived project called Sleepy Turbine . For 3 years, I played Bass & Harmonica for a great country band called The Beau Roland Band . You can buy our 1st album here! You can buy our 2nd album here. In 2006, Phillip (aka Beau Roland) and I teamed up in voltron-like fashion to serve as the rhythm section on my friend Jack's very fun solo-ish album, Nefarious Jack And The Naysayers . In the spring of 2007, I was fortunate enough to have filled in on bass for Deadly Sins on their 3 week U.S Tour, opening for The Dropkick Murphy's. I had the time of my life!Currently, I play bass for, Silent Service . Here's our video for the song "Falcon" Produced by Gentleman Jim Gilbert. "There was love all around me but I was lookin for revenge"

Clean & Sober or Whisky-ed & Coked? Both versions of Stevie Ray Vaughan were great and totally mind blowing to me, but I think you can guess which one I liked "better".  Same old story, do...

"Rolling in the ocean - Trying to catch her eye"

I bought "Is This It?" as soon as it came out. I thought the Strokes were the greatest band I had ever heard.  .....Then I calmed down.  I think the first record is an absolute classic. ...

"HEY, hear me when I say. The harder they come the harder they fall"

"Stevie Salas Colorcode" was released in 1988, and is one of those albums that I really love, but realize most folks wouldn't. I suppose the experience of seeing him and his band open for Joe Satriani...

"They died a lot like no one I know - When their love dried up"

This is not going to win me any friends. I love Steve Vai. HOWEVER, I assure you, I do not love the Steve Vai that exists today. (Does it matter? hahaha) I am not really sure of the order, but there w...

Spoon - I have "Gimme Fiction" and "A Series of Sneaks", but I don't really ever reach for them.  I'm happy when some of the songs come up on shuffle, but I'm just not all that moved by the band ...

"It said seize the day. Pull the trigger - Drop the blade, and watch the rolling heads."

I don't really have all that much to say about Soundgarden.  I don't care for the first two releases, "Ultramega OK" or "Louder Than Love". I like 3 songs from "Badmotorfinger" ("Outshined", "Rus...

"Horses Whinnie, Cows Moo, Dogs Bark, Fuck You!"

I am not usually a fan of the "whimsical/funny/tongue & cheek" rock bands.  At the moment, I can only think of a small few; Frank Zappa, Cobraman, Ian Dury and today's subject....The Sound Of...
