About Me

I'm a boring nerd with not-so-boring hobbies. I've snuck into abandoned buildings, caves, tunnels, and the occasional active building in a bunch of parts of the US and some parts of Canada. My hobby has led to me walking through quicksand, nearly suffocating in a sewer, putting my foot through the floors of decaying buildings, hanging out in the morgue of an abandoned asylum, climbing rusty ladders that fall apart as I touch them, hanging out on the rooftops of more buildings than I can count, taking photographs of things that have gone unseen for 50 years or more, taking photographs from the inside of a building while it was being demolished, and the formation of lots of great memories.
When I'm not participating in recreational trespassing I enjoy riding my bike long distances and swimming in Summer and skiing (cross-country, skate, and downhill) and sledding in Winter. I've also been running because I want to do triathlons sometime this summer (or maybe next - I've been lazy and I'm realistic).
I also watch lots and lots of movies - probably more than is healthy, really. I've also been known to read.
And I listen to music! Here's the last few tracks I played (courtesy of last.fm)
