Well, I'm a nut for Steel guitars. Non-pedal, pedal and lap. Playing swing & jump blues, rockabilly, western swing, honky tonk and old country standards. Off the wall humor gets me goin'.Currently playing steel guitar for Rough Rider, Joe Roberts & the Country Classics and Pedal Steel with Junior Moore Band and Silver Creek. Also playing the North East Iowa Steel Guitar Show, The Dairy State Steel Guitar Show and The Quad-Cities Steel Guitar Show. Performed in 1998 at the Texas Steel Guitar Association Convention "talent night". Four years in the Thursday night "jam band" at Country Corners in Madison WI. Played steel guitar for musical theater productions of Patsy Cline's "Always" and "A closer walk with Patsy Cline" at the Racine Theater Guild in Racine Wisconsin with rave reviews.I have two daughters, Erin an Karin. The girls are grown and living on their own. I also have an 8 year old son, Billy that lives with me. His mother lives in Austin, Texas. He spends the summer and other school breaks in Austin. Billy is also one heck of a drummer. My gal Audrey and I are very proud of him.I've been a cement finisher most of my working career until recently. I am certified by the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WISDOT) as a level one concrete tester. I'm now working as a heavy equipment operator. Between digs I gig with Rough-Rider, Joe Roberts, Junior Moore and Silver Creek.
