About Me

Pretty much Im an art dork.... born in butt cold Minnesota, moved to Orange County CA when I was 13........ and now......living in the hot ass desert with my boyfriend of 6+ years and our 2 kiddies.....haha..enough said!!........ohh yeah and if you couldnt tell.... I paint and tattoo........
I am currently working at Studio 21 Tattoo in las vegas NV . You can check out thier myspace here Studio 21 The shop is pretty much appt only so give the shop a call if your interested in getting tattooed.
I have put most of my commission stuff on hold to concentrate on tattoo oriented mediums. I will still be doing oil paintings in my spare time, but currently my schedule does not give me enough free time to complete commissions in a half way timely matter so simply put Im not taking on anything new right now. From time to time I will post any new paintings and prints availabe in my blog. Also I started to rebuild my website, but that to has been put on hold so Ill let you know once is up and running again.

My Interests

painting & drawing,Tattooing, 20's, 30's,40's & 50's, Flappers, Old toys, antique vantriloquist dolls, carnie stuff and circus memorabilia, art.....lowbrow/outsider, tattoos, master renaissance paintings, Ryden, Hussar, Nerdrum, Caravaggio, Lord Leighton, and a bunch of other bad ass artists !! Photography,antiques from funeral homes, random parts from dismantled antique dolls,vintage halloween masks, antique embalming and doctors equipment, Making furniture.... or dreamin' of it, old pictures, fans from the 20's-50's, pin ups pic's and nudie magazines from the 50's.

artists, tattooers, collectors, galleries, old friends, nice people!

Music:

.....punk, rockabiliy,flapper stuff.... Boswell sisters I heart you...... pretty much everything.....

Movies:

Freaks ( from the 30's), old silent films, anything troma, dead alive, goonies, mallrats, any movie staring shirley temple, evil dead....whom my son is named after ( no seriously his name is Ash), and lots of other stuff.....If I stay awake through it, that means I liked it!....or that it was one of the stupidest movies every produced.

Television:

When I have a chance between working and my kids spongebob and Dora... which I sadly know the theme song to both.... I am usually painting....the tv's background noise, but I never really pay attention to whats on.... With the exception of Big Love and Grays Anatomy which is set as a season pass on my Tivo!

Books:

Stephen King, lots of art books.....Juxtapoz, Blab, Communication Arts, James Taylor's shocked and Amazed,all of which are not really books, but I read them like they are the bible, and in general anything thats half interesting.

Heroes:

anyone with a 2 year old who makes it out alive!!!!!!!
