DAINAMITE - RAPPER, REGGAETON AND HIP HOP PRODUCER
Born December 6th, 1979 in Ponce, Puerto Rico and raised in the city, Yauco. Dainamite soon became hungry to be special in life and become successful. At the young age of five, he began to feel passionate for music and loved to dance. At the age of twelve, with only a cassette player, he began experimenting and learning how to create his own mix of Rap and Reggaeton. At sixteen, his attention turned to the guitar, and he taught himself to play by only using his ears as a guide, without written musical notes. With this talent and experience, he began creating Rap music using his guitar skills which gave him the position of being the only rapper in his city producing Rap music with a guitar. Later on, Dainamite wanted to enhance his abilities as an artist and began taking classes in dance, acting and modeling. By the age of eighteen, he had already won numerous talent shows and participated in various activities for the local radio stations and worked with the world fast food corporation, McDonalds.
In 2001, he participated in his first Spanish Rap contest, on the international Hispanic program, Sabado Gigante, there he was awarded with second place internationally. While pursuing his passion for music he was also committed to his modeling and acting career. Dainamite was an extra in two movies and commercials and modeled for different agencies in Puerto Rico. Upon his arrival to Miami, Florida, he worked in three different soap operas for the popular television networks; Telemundo and Univision. In addition to his television experience, he also worked in the movies including Big Trouble with Tim Allen and All about the Benjamins with rapper Ice Cube. He currently has a role in the upcoming movie, The Dragon Empress, as Mantis.
In 2004, he conquered the salsa public, sharing stages with David Pabon, Eddie Santiago, Los Hermanos Lebron, and the famous Tito Rojas. He then performed before a live audience of more than 26,000 people at the celebration of the Colombian Independence Festival on July 18th 2004 at the Tamiami Park fairgrounds in Miami, Florida. Also that year he performed in world wide known, Calle Ocho Festival, as well as at the Marooney Festival in Hollywood, Florida.
Dainamite has been creating music since 1994 and throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to share stages with many famous artists and being able to collaborate with internationally known artists such as Marger, who starred in Protagonistas de la Musica, from Venezuela, Aiko, Luis Karlos, and Juan Carlos of Colombia and the Rayito from Spain, well known throughout Europe. This multi-talented artist, composer and producer, create music to send out positive image for everyone. He serves as an example and role model to the young people of the world today!
