JOSEPH DI FRAIA nato il 23 /09 /1980 sotto le luminose stelle di Arpajon, in provincia di Parigi, si avvicina alla batteria all’età di 16 anni grazie alla grande passione del padre Gianfranco Di Fraia, storico batterista che vanta collaborazioni con EDOARDO VIANELLO (1964), GIANFRANCO FUNARI (1965 Teatro Smeraldo Milano), i SURF, il chitarrista EROS di MILENA CANTU’ (La ragazza del Clan di ADRIANO CELENTANO) e i KIWI con il singolo "Alito di vento" (registrato presso gli studi della famosa 7RECORDS RCA ), rinunciando con rammarico, di far parte del gruppo "I GIGANTI". Crescendo si appassiona anche alla chitarra che trova utilissima per comporre ed arrangiare i propri brani. All’età di 18 anni fonda il suo primo gruppo temPOPerso. Nel 1999 si diploma presso l’Istituto statale d’Arte di Anzio (in Oreficeria). Nell’inverno del 2000 prosegue i suoi studi di batteria al SAINT LOUIS MUSIC COLLEGE e all’UNIVERSITA’ DELLA MUSICA, sotto l’insegnamento e la professionalità di DAVIDE PETTIROSSI. Nel 2001 registra negli studi di campo di carne LAB411 un cd di musica inedita POP per un cantautore. Nell’inverno del 2003 insieme al cantante Emanuele Fracassi e il chitarrista Simone Fracassi, decide di fondare un gruppo Rock…AMARENA…cercando di portare avanti un vero e proprio progetto discografico insieme al produttore artistico ALESSANDRO CANINI. Nell’attesa di trovare un’etichetta discografica, Joseph e gli Amarena aprono concerti di artisti famosi come: DOLCENERA, MARCO MASINI, RAIZ, SIMONE CRISTICCHI, LUCA BARBAROSSA, SILVIA SALEMI, NERI MARCORE’, l’intramontabile GIGI SABANI, ALESSIA MANCINI, MARINA OCCHIENA e il comico CLAUDIO SAINT JUST. Joseph Di Fraia partecipa a vari concorsi: Accademia di Sanremo, San Benedetto del Tronto, Sanremo Rock e Fox Cover Play…VINCENDO CON QUEST’ULTIMO UN RULLANTE ARTIGINALE COME MIGLIOR BATTERISTA. In 2001 it records in the studies of field of meat LAB411 a cd of Pop unpublished music for a singer songwriter. In the 2003 winter together with the singer Emanuele Fracassi and the guitarist Simone Fracassi, decides to found a group Rock “AMARENA†to bring forth a real record project together with the producer artistic ALESSANDRO CANINI. In attends him to find a record label, Joseph and the AMARENA they open concerts of famous artists as: DOLCENERA, MARCO MASINI, RAIZ, SIMONE CRISTICCHI, LUCA BARBAROSSA, SILVIA SALEMI, NERI MARCORE’, the everlasting GIGI SABANI, ALESSIA MANCINI, MARINA OCCHIENA and the comedian CLAUDIO SAINT JUST.
