Tha Plague’s BioTha Plague is a female group of MCs based out of Baltimore that is sure to cause a stir within the hip hop community. Founded in Baltimore Maryland by Symphony, Nina Ross and Rev, the lone male MC in the original group formation, the group challenged the hip hop status quo. Larceny joined the group sometime later and brought a youthful vitality that added a whole different dimension to the whole mix. Although each style is altogether her own, the dynamic between the female group members made it appear that they’d worked together for years. After the amicable departure of an original member, Rev, the group, now a trio, was now ready to introduce the world to their unique brand of storytelling. This new formula really struck a chord with audiences. Energized with renewed hope, Tha Plague, set out to change the way that people viewed a woman’s ability to chronicle hood life.Over the last 2 years, the group has come across ever type of stereotypical character in the music industry.
