My name is Chelsea Lauren. I reside in Portland, OR as of now. In the near future, I hope to return to my roots and live in Norway. I'm 20 years old and an aspiring model. I am working very hard to obtain my goals. Nothing can stop me. If you're going to try and drag me down, do not talk to me. That is my one simple plea.
I am outspoken. I am bold. I am daring. I am intense. I am not afraid to tell you exactly what I think of you. I don't fear words over a monitor. I am in your face. I am not afraid to piss you off. I push limits. I break stereotypes. I am strong; physically and mentally. I am me. Just a little clarification on that matter. If you can get past my blatent honesty and intense attitude, I am a great person.
My art is here to stir emotions. Whether they are bad, good, wrong, right, morbid, pure, or anything in between, I am happy to have stirred up something inside of you.
When someone takes your picture, it is said you lose part of your soul. In that case, I must not have one anymore! HA! There was my attempt at humour. Take it or leave it. ;-)
The main type of music I listen to is Black Metal. I like slam dancing, tuning out to some good music, and connecting with music. Black metal is the only music I have found that I can relax to and talk about. I love to hear about new bands and can talk for hours and hours about music. So, don't be shy!
As much as I appreciate and blush at the messages I get from some of you men folk, I have a boyfriend. He is sweeter than pie to me and I wouldn't trade him in for anyone. So, please be respectful and not offended if I do not reply back to your messages. Thank you for understanding!
As to modeling, I absolutely adore it. I have been modeling for about 2 years now and take what I do very seriously, as it is my career of choice. I enjoy making ART, not "pretty pictures for my myspace and my boyfriend!1!!". I have some very interesting and controversial ideas in my head right now, and am looking for the right photographer to work them out with me. If you don't mind adding a bit of controversy to your book, let's talk. I have a long list of references from photographers, Make-Up Artists, Wardrobe Stylists, and fellow models I can release to you so that you may check them. Please feel free to ask if you are curious.
I don't have a seperate modeling account on myspace. I feel it is not necessary to disguise what I truly am in order to persuade people to work with me. I am versatile and I am a good model. I work hard to get the shots I want. I don't feel that letting people see all aspects of me is a negative thing. I am a firm believer that being upfront with everyone is a good thing.
I have been modeling for almost 3 years. I have decided to take a turn into artistic nude modeling. Tyhey key word here is artistic. I am looking to do European style fine art nudes. Getting naked, being suggestive, and then turning it black & white is not fine art.
I still love fashion and collaborate on that as well. Any projects you have in mind, I'm your girl. I am willing to get dirty (in the literal sense), be put under harsh condition, thrown into danger's way, and abused to get the shot. I'm dedicated to making art.
