From the streets of Shreveport, Louisiana to the brick city of NY, and now rooted in Dallas, Texas. DJ B-Smoove has taken turntablism to a new height. With the manipulation of sound, he has elevating music to his own charismatic an innovative cutting edge style of mixing and scratching. Focusing on his technique, B-Smoove has been recognized as one of the most legitimate D.J.’s capable of interacting and improvising with total crow control.Born in Shreveport, Louisiana Bruce Montgomery, who will later been known as D.J. B. Smoove was a bedroom DJ who spinned his first official gig at the age of 13 for his cousin’s backyard party. Later he went on to do numerous neighborhood block parties and YMCA function that where sponsored by local high schools. While DJing his way though high school he was recognized as a new young talent by urban radios station in the area. As a young D.J., B-Smoove was opening for such acts as LL Cool J, Da La Soul, Sick Rick, Chaka Khan and Whodini. B-Smoove went on to attend Southern University (to accomplish a Electronics Technology degree) where his djing skills landed him a job at KDKS (103.7) as a mix-show dj, and later to become a radio personality/ Mix-Show Coordinator/ D.J. for Magic 100.1 KMJJ (99.7) and then music director for WJXM 105.7 eventually leading him to co produce his own TV show titled PHAT TRAXX VEDIO.In 2003 he relocated to Dallas, Texas and began his profession as an FWISD educator. While teaching was a rewarding career, B-Smoove decided he wanted to start his own marketing Company entitled Wreck Entertainment. Wreck Entertainment is a company that gives business owners a new way to promote their business, from djing your promotional function to mixed CD, graphic arts, media duplication, studio production and building web sites. Since starting his business he has contracted mixed CD’s and store promotions for such companies as Footgear, Game Stop, PG2, Aware Affair, Disney’s artist owned business Spit Gear clothing, Musicsnippets.com. He has also dj’s for the world renowned group P.P.T. B-Smoove also dj’s for Head Krack of 97.9 The Beat, and Verbal Seed. B-smoove has been featured in articles for w4wmusic.com, Texas gigs, Dallas observer, Ozone Magazine, and conradio.com for his djing skills.B-Smoove has dj’ed in various venues such as Dallas Black Expo, Nissan Motor Cross, Dallas Video Festival, EMI artist show case, Gypsy tea room various concerts, and The Hard Rock Café ect.His energy, talent, and professionalism has taken him to new adventures in his career.
