As-Salaamu Alaikum!!!What up world! I go by the name OneSelf Salaam. Producer/MC, 1/3 of the group Verbal Seed, 1/3 of Soulkontrollaz Productions and Aeonz Crew affiliate. I've been making beats since '93 but got serious with it in '96 when I copped the EMU SP-1200. The first time I heard "They Reminisce Over You" by Pete Rock & CL Smooth I lost my mind. I was like "what the hell is Pete Rock using?" And I found out it's not what you use but how you use it. I've been a lyricist all my life but always had an ear for the music. When me and my brother Focus starting Verbal Seed back in the day it was hard to find producers to work with us or find tracks that we liked.
