I take pictures of myself in disasters and moustaches. I love matcha Kit Kats, blind taste tests, Mad Libs, and many things Japanese! I am a feminist and an attorney and a member of the band known as the Vivian Girls. I love the artists Justin Duerr, Miss Pussycat and Quintron, Amy Cutler, Cindy Sherman, Henry Darger, Enid Hudson, Chloe Potter, Lori Nix, Tae Won Yu, Fay Ku . . .

I'm a member of the Department of Craft, a NYC-based arts and crafts collective. I design clothes. My favorite designer is Wooden Mustache and if I ever get divorced from my deer-pigeon, I will attempt to marry Chuck Stolarek so that I can be the coolest dressed girl at the library.

I love the band Northern Liberties (in the video below), especially a certain fancy pigeon who is a part-time rock singer.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Puppy beagles. I would like to have a bathtub full of puppy beagles! I would also like to meet Tony Randall (not thoroughly convinced he's left us) and Tiny Tim (who really is dead) and Sammy Davis Jr. and oh -- I would be too tongue tied to meet Quintron and Miss Pussycat -- but perhaps we could meet if we were "equals" because my band with Justin Duerr achieved cult hero status and wouldn't it be fun if I met more people who like sewing and we could put on the best fashion show ever in the Vale of Cashmere in Prospect Park, Brooklyn? Also, it would be nice to meet more photographers, feminists, musicians, and fans of Flossie and the Unicorns. Also, someone with a vault full of matcha Kit Kats.

Music:

I am a member of a secret band called The Vivian Girls. We play lo-fi craft pop. Our first album, Kitten Lemonade Stand: The Awesome Celebrity Couple Years, came out in March 2007 on Albus Orgone Records!!!

Movies:

I wish that a new documentary movie would come out about beagles. I love beagles!

Repo Man. All Over Me. Persona. Cabaret.

(I have movie narcolepsy and so I have rarely seen an entire movie, including the ones listed above.)

Sadie Benning is my favorite director and I love Miranda July. Someone is doing a documentary on Justin Duerr and his research on the Toynbee Idea, and that will surely be my favorite movie when it is finished.

Television:

I love matcha Kit Kats! I watch Wheel of Fortune and pray that I will win as a Wheel Watcher Club member so that I can buy 3,000,000 matcha Kit Kats!
