Dirty Vinyls

Formed in late 2000 in an industrial inbred town on the outskirts of super Le MyGen Profile Generator eds,Dirty Vinyls are a 5 piece rock n roll band playing anthems for the soul. Screaming Hammond, dirty guitars, driving bass, hammered drums and smokey vocals mixed with a wealth of great songs played by musicians with a point to prove. Influenced by the great British rock n roll bands of the past 40 years such as The Who, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and The Small Faces, Dirty Vinyls have set there standards high. After a number of visits to various studios in Leeds the vinyls decided to do it themselves and set up there own recording studio in which they have recorded all of there newest and greatest tunes. Microphones stuck up, band in circle, "just press the button and well record it live" was the opinion. The resulting recordings captured the feel that the band had never got before. "It doesn't matter if you mess up as long as it sounds good". Dirty Vinyls have been playing gigs around the UK for the last 5 years. Headlining at venues such as, The Cavern Liverpool, Night and day & dry bar Manchester and Josephs well, faversham and mixing tin in super Leeds. Recently the band have gained the support of the legendary ALAN MCGEE who is helping to give the band the exposure they deserve by putting the DVS on at his club nights DEATH DISCO & THE QUEEN IS DEAD 2006 holds alot of promise for this proper rock n roll band and the vinyls will be busy, recording, touring and making twats of themselves any way that they can.
