About Me

I got my name in lights with notcelebrity.co.uk

A friend once described me as an "aficionado". Not of anything in particular, but of EVERYTHING - art, movies, TV, literature, music, cigars, food, cocktails, etc. I guess that's true. I'm always expanding my horizons, too. Looking for new things to be an "aficionado" of. Another friend once described me as "obsessive" for the same reason.Perhaps the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

This is Dudley. He loves string!

Laundry Day

I hate laundry. The baskets, detergent, fabric softener sheets, machines, hangers all of it. It's the "choriest" of all household chores. Cleaning cat puke off the carpet? Great! Scrubbing the toile...

I spent some time in Barnes & Noble this afternoon. As I turned away from a shelf in the fiction and literature section, I bumped into a tall, skinny, youngish, professional-looking guy. We said our s...
