LISA LAMBERT & SCOTT NUNLEY -Members of The Mississippi Alliance for Arts Education, this duo have been performing together for several years now. They have also performed for the past couple of years with the bluegrass gospel band, The Sparks Family Singers.Lisa Lambert is a classically trained pianist who has been playing the guitar since age 8. Other instruments include the fiddle and steel guitar.Scott Nunley plays the harmonica, mandolin, and autoharp. Both sing leads and harmonies.Their music interests are varied...including blues, bluegrass, western swing, country, jazz, old time, gospel, and Americana.THE PINE RIDGE BOYS -The Pine Ridge Boys (1949-1959) were an area sensation during the last century (see Pine Ridge Boys History in Blog). In early 2007, the surviving members of the original band (Bryan Sparks, Leon Shots, Nolan Wells, and Dolan Taylor) resurected The Pine Ridge Boys & added some "new blood" (Curly Ward, Lynn Grissom, & Brandon Sparks). They burst back on the music scene with 2 new CD's ("Precious Memories" and "The Pine Ridge Boys 2nd Album"). Both have been successful.LISA LAMBERT & THE PINE RIDGE BOYS - Always eager for a new challenge, The Pine Ridge Boys agreed to join partners Lisa Lambert & Scott Nunley in some new cd projects and a road show!Performances are tailored to the venue, but most include a mixture of gospel and secular bluegrass music...sprinkled with a little blues/jazz, old time, and country music. The band puts a new twist on forgotten classics and the crowds always seem to enjoy the show!
