Advertising, fiction, optimism, irony. The ocean, diving, tropical fish, tropical fruit. Live music, driving fast, driving fast with the music too loud. Making lists, making plans, planning trips. Staying out too late, being the first one up in the morning. Sunday morning breakfast with the paper. London, Venice, Sonoma, San Francisco. Farmer’s markets. White wine, red wine, dark chocolate. Anyone who has a mostly positive outlook on life and a wicked sense of humor with whom I can experience new places, new tastes, new sights & sounds... and if it doesn't hinge upon being TOO broke or TOO hung over the next day, all the better!... I promise to do the same for you...

I'm somewhat 'equal opportunity' when it comes to movies... I used to work for Premiere magazine and I was exposed to how much effort goes into making any film (stinky or otherwise), so I can pretty much find something redeeming about most... not a big Woody Allen fan (and yes... I realize he's a cinematic genius... but he's SO whiny!) Just about any film that involves past lives ("A Prelude to a Kiss", "Chances Are", "City of Angels", "Heaven Can Wait", "Birth", "Somewhere In Time")... That whole notion of true love transcending death... sigh ;)

"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense" -- Ralph Waldo Emerson
