About Me

Hannah’s message
As you know I am no longer in the Love Bites. I have enjoyed my time with the band, it’s been mad, but I made my mind up a while back, told the girls how I felt, and we decided that now would be a good time for me to leave. It’s been an absolute pleasure being with Aimee, Beka and Kat, and we’ve had some good times together. I have my reasons for wanting to leave the band, one of which is the fact that I have done this for so long now, that I want to go and do other things. I want to take the time out to pass my driving test, and maybe go to college to do something completely different. I will be still playing drums, and having lessons, I’m not giving it up completely, I feel I just need a break. I still hope to attend some of the gigs, catch up with old friends and support the band. In the meantime, I’m sure you will get along and support the girls and welcome, new drummer Laura, she’s crazy as well.
Take a look at our new line up
Thanks

We made the top 10 at The Brits
Founder members Aimee and Hannah speak of an amazing journey from a small town in Warwickshire, to the dizzy heights of pop stardom. In a short but entertaining career, they worked with some high profiled producers, including Steve Robson and Cliff Jones, and recorded at some of the top studios in Europe. A top twenty single followed, and the band appeared on almost every T.V channel, here in the U.K and Europe.
The summer of 2006, saw the band play with A list stars such as Westlife, Rooster, and McFly, at the various Party In The Park’ gigs around the country, securing a cameo appearance in Channel 4’s teen cult show ‘Sugar Rush’, and a walk down the red carpet at the Tickled Pink charity concert at The Royal Albert Hall. The year ended with the band playing at the Christmas Lights On, in Birmingham’s Millennium Point.
The band championed the Anti-Bullying Campaign, and embarked on a tour of schools, but the all important follow-up ’He’s Fit’ failed to maintain the success of the debut single, and ‘In My Room’ that was due for release in May 2006, was pulled at the last minute by the label.
Fuelled by a passion of live music, and Influenced by bands such as Marc Bolan & T.Rex, Motley Crue, and The Scorpions, a new line-up was born. Beka Vendetta joined the band on vocals, along with bassist Kat Upton, and the band set out to tease new audiences across the U.K, playing support slots to Glitterati and Rattlesnake Remedy. Look out for dates in 2007.
Love Bites would like to thank their fans, old and new for their continued support and friendship, over a crazy couple of years, you’ve been quite amazing, Thank you all.
