About Me

Rising rock upstarts from Essex, Takoma Star blend pop-punk, classic rock and emo to make sing along friendly anthems ready for the mosh pit.

Their debut EP "To This Day" (out now) has already recieved favourable reviews picking up on its feel good attitude and its confident style.
2006 saw the band hit the floor running opening up for such legendary names in the music world as The Stranglers and The Blockheads.
2007 has seen them gigging extensively playing Unis and Colleges nationwide and gaining momentum with a sound that was once described as "the reult of a head on collision between The Knack and Dinosaur Jnr".
For fans of The Ataris, Jimmy Eat world and +44 to name but a few. Takoma Star are a band you are going to love.
