Growlin’ Love & Pain started from an idea of the guitarist/singer Marco Cinelli to mix the black music with the white southern rock, creating a band that can overflow every kind of music he has been played in his life. He first joined the slapper Daniele"Bomboclat" Labbate and built with him a four-heads band, performing a couple of years in many places in Italy and outside, placing good in some bands events and opening some important star show ( Scott Henderson ). Afterwards, the GL&P become a power trio, with the funky drummer Passerotto D’Ortona, giving to the sound a new powerful and soulful feeling.Inspired from the music of Hendrix, Funkadelic, Sly Stone, Rolling Stones, the whole blues and soul, the project was born simply to explain to the people all the music they ever liked, and at the same time, something completely fresh.
