Jon Virtue has been resident DJ and co-promoter of Inner City Acid in Glasgow for almost three years. He has booked and played alongside The Youngsters, Si Begg, FC Kahuna, Tony Thomas, Radioactive Man, Medicine 8, Mutiny, Mekon and Bass Junkie.
He's been producing his own tracks for three years with releases on Perc Trax and Kicking Records, which is home to artists such as Trentemoller, DJ Hell, David Duriez, Lissat & Voltaxx, Avus, Lazy Fat People, Marc Ashken, James Holden, Nathan Fake etc.
Jon launched his own record label, Artificial Silence earlier this year which will release quality produced electronic music, focusing on house, techno and minimal. He plans to release some of his own material on Artificial Silence later this year. Jon’s music has also been supported by Radio 1.
